Been getting a lot of debug-errors with latest experimentals while starting the game.
Is it due to my tileset or does it need a bit more love?
you cant sprint
and maybe probaly have something negative on mele but not sure
So a mad npc burned down a pawn shop and rubble covered that nice broadsword i wanted to steal. Can i dig it up from the rubble?
Yup. Strike the earth!
And then we can colonize hell and dump nobles bandits into it.
Also, can anyone recall how big the reality bubble is in terms of map tiles?
Reality bubble is a square with 11x12 (=132) tiles on the edge, but it’s not exactly centered on the player. Anything within about 60 tiles is probably within the bubble, anything further than 72 probably isn’t.
Map tiles as in normal game grid tiles, or the tiles shown when hitting “m” to view the map? I kinda meant the latter. >.o
And now for a harder to misunderstand question, planting pine trees. How, assuming it’s doable?

132 in-game tiles.
It works like this: the bubble is made of 11x11 submaps, each of which is made of 12x12 tiles.
A single overmap tile (tile you see in 'm’ap) is 2x2 submaps, so 24x24 square.
So things 3 overmap tiles from you (on map it would look like: @ . . . v ) are most likely outside bubble.
Planting pine trees would be doable, but unless you hacked around the system by making multiple growth stages, it would grow stupidly fast. You could probably make a construction recipe that would create a young pine terrain, then set it to have it change the form on some season.
Oh derp. I thought planting trees was a thing by now? I’ve heard it mentioned as if it existed already.
And that is a gloriously convoluted way of telling me how to determine if my shelter is too close to the fungal lunacy. <____<

It was a mod and the mod maker didn’t PR it.
In short: if it is closer than 4 tiles in 'm’ap, you’re fucked unless you start a fungal holocaust before you go to sleep.
I’ll have to look into that. Depends on if a json-only solution can be devised, I’m rather leery of adding source tweaks unless I have to.
And I think I have the distances, but I might sleep in my isolated woodland camp and purge the Mycus in the morning. owo
You know you want to taste some of those berries, why all the violence?
You could eat the berries while burning down the fungus.
If the Mycus wants to spread, it can go spread itself in fire.
Suffer not the shroom to live. owo
Burn the mycus, kill the triffid, and purge the blob. This world shall be reclaimed by humanity no matter what the cost.
I, for one, welcome our new fungal overlords. These berries are so delicious.
I agree on all things except for one. Reclaim humanity? Pah! Why do so when you can EAT all humanity instead?
You’ve been brainwashed by them fungals, haven’t you? Soon enough you’ll start speaking in “we” and start leaking fungus all over the place.
Yes, burn the fungus, the plants, and the blob. Then eat the humans. The better for dragons that are random. owo
If there be dragons, then eat them as well.
