Forgot that teleporters do that… but I haven’t stepped into one with this character. This is really puzzling me but the mutations seems to have stopped after I took antibiotics+royal jelly (not sure if they made it go away or something else).

Don’t forget that teleglow can also be caused by monsters with the stare attack (flaming eyes), the time dilation bionic, and certain artifacts.

Yeah, it’s generally radiation. unless you have a geiger counter you won’t be able to tell how many rads you’re soaking up, which can lead to mutations.
Also if you get the lightly irradiated trait, despair.
Things will only get worse. You yourself start spouting rads.

We really need throw-away rad-tags. Turns red if you soak up too much.

Is there a way to remove graffiti? It seems there’s no way to abort once you [a]ctivate the spraycan and it leaves a blank message. This really isn’t a major issue, just the bright red square in the middle of my mansion is kind of an eyesore.

Raided a distant town, came back to my safehouse. Every window is either closed and curtains drawn or boarded up with bookshelves and stuff blocking them.

Found a goddamn black widow in the bathroom. A bathroom that has only one closed door and no window.

The dresser was IN the window though. There was no way even I was getting through. I could have forgotten to put it back in before I left, but this has happened twice now.

I assume if you’re close enough to a wasp or spider house they can just spawn inside your safehouse when you’re not looking.

Best find a safehouse that’s further away, like, the other side of town.

It seems wildlife can ‘spawn’ inside of structures. this is compounded by the fact that there’s not distinction between a player owned building and an abandoned one, so bears in the bathroom can happen (oh god, the bears)

I wonder if this is fixable?

maybe monsters cant spawn within x tiles of the last bed you slept in

EDIT: since were’ on the topic of noobery, if the setting is static… doesn’t that mean mobs aren’t spawning? Or only wildlife ? Are spiders considered wildlife?

Spiders and wasps are immune to the spawning regulations, I think. it’s just stuff like zombies and suchlike.

Also, serious question: How the hell do I fix a broken computer. My longest-lived survivor so far (yet, with zero skill in computers)
Managed to fry a card reader in a military bunker. Tried the same thing in the police station and fried that too.
And no, I didn’t die to manhacks, since I made some EMP grenades beforehand.

please tell me it’s fixable. I don’t want to be locked out of that tasty bunker.

Really though, a guy with electronics 10 mechanics 6 should generally have at least a vague idea of what an electrohack is and how it pertains to a computer or card reader.

I’m sure explosives would work, but there is really no way to fix it? o0
