Glowsticks. Just collect glowsticks. They don’t illuminate the area, granted, but they work fine for reading and they last for ages.
Or learn how to make light strips, all you have to do for them is dissasemble a random computer and have batterys, and what is a transistor, they last for days…
though how do you delete your preset characters
Cataclysm DDA–>templates.
They are all in there.

What’s the best way to deal with a cold in the middle of the wilderness with no royal jelly?
Find a house, hit the bathroom and grab some cough syrup.
Shrug it of like a champ(cat)
The RNG God has thrown me into a forsaken town that has at most the Popular Mechanic book (mechanic skill up to level 1). However I need at least lv2 in order to remove parts and much more when trying to repair them. Is there any way to boost my mechanic skills without having to do a long trip to the next town?
yes use a soldering iron to reinforce stuff.
The grindier and less rewarding way is to crowbar all the windows and picklock all the doors that you come across.
Hey, is there a Cbm that allows me to interface bionic power as ups power? (i know there is a cbm for power armor) if not, i’d like to go suggest that, because i see no real reason to not have one.
Yes.
Yes there is, the Unified Power System CBM, probably find it in labs or bunkers.
Can somebody list me all the special thing that you can attach to your vehicle? like those rv kitchen unit or welding rig, and please tell me what they all do, because some of them seems to do the samething? Whats the point of installing hydrogen or water tank inside your vehicle? and how exactly does “using power from car battery” works? do you only have to install the normal car battery on the car, or you have to install the storage battery thing?
Here’s the item browser. The vehicle installables are down the bottom. Typically, I find the item browser to be more useful as it’s more updated. http://cdda-trunk.estilofusion.com/search?q=%26
Hydrogen is used for some higher tier engines. Water tanks are useful for storing large amounts of water. You can get it from them via faucet or kitchen unit.
Lastly, any old battery will do, but storage is nice for the amount it contains.
Seems like rv kitchen unit and foodco kitchen buddy do the same thing, right ? Also how does the battery and alternator of a vehicle works? Do the alternator recharge the battery when the engine is on?
I know an electric-type recipe (vehicle tracking device) despite I still need to read it from a book. (it is still highlited in white)
Is it normal? Or this is an issue?

Actually recipes have changed, you no longer need to read-spam books to learn recipes, you can make the recipe as long as you have the components and the book on hand, after that you memorize the recipe, you can still read-spam for recipes but it’s not forced anymore (thank god)
Foodco has a few upsides, firstly it has a vacuum sealer, and a hand press and die set (as well as requiring those items to craft it), that said, a vacuum sealer is uncraftable and hard to come by (in my experience) so kitchen unit is a much more viable alternative, as well as it spawning in various vehicles by default (eg: Food stand, and iirc rv)
Read-spamming got changed too.
Now you pick a book and read it automatically until you learn all recipes you can learn with your skills or decide to stop.
Whats the difference if i put car or truck battery into my vehicle? Also if i don’t have and alternator, will the lights, the attachment like kitchen stuff stop workingg?
