if you don’t delete your world then yes, your corpse in fact remains where you died. however, you may have spawned VERY far away, as It took me an entire day by vehicle to find my corpse on a respawn.

Yeah, I had luck to spawn in the exact same (Or one right next to) evac shelter that I did with my character before the last one.

But again, a third time now, I died because of a bite wound. Once I died of the resulting infection, and twice trying to get antibiotics. Had luck to find them now in a house right next to a zombie-infested pharmacy I was going to, but since the wiki is outdated on this, I’m not even sure if antibiotics are what I need.

Do I have get alcohol to disinfect the wound, and/or sewing kit to stich the wound or something? Or do I just take antibiotics and wait it out?

I believe than once your wound has become infected, antibiotics are your only recourse, but it is far better to sanitize the wound before that happens.

Pay attention to the combat log to watch for when you suffer a deep bite wound- it will also say on the @ screen when you have suffered a bite wound- and immediately clean the wound with a first aid kit, or cauterize it with your starting pocket knife and a lighter.

Cauterizing the wound causes a lot of pain, so be prepared to take some pain killers if speed is going to be an issue.

Darn it! I had plenty of first aid kits when I first got bit, and I was looking for an option to bandage the wound or stich it with the first aid kit, but there wasn’t any in the menu! ;/

It’s a bit silly thought… Once you are healed up, it shouldn’t be listed as an infected wound, but rather as an infection.

Nope. Only thing that blocks Acid Rain is Inside, whether vehicle or structure. (Underground is its own “weather”, I think.)

And for bad: Near Sighted Heavy Sleeper LightWeight, Addictive Personality, Trigger Happy, Truth Teller and Ugly. I like this build because when you get mutated you can get Road Runner which gives plus 30% speed on flat surfaces

That’s a very shortsighted build right there. You’ll be fine at perfect health but what happens once you get hurt?

You can’t even take a sip of vodka in case you need an extra point of strength, right? Not that you’d need any extra points.
I’m just thinking that any drugs you use will screw you up. You might get out of a nasty situation but you’ll be spending a ton of time in recovery. What I’m saying is that you might be in a bad spot once your speed drops.

That’s not necessarily true. I have played melee characters in the past that took addictive personality, and they never became addicted to painkillers. I believe that even with addictive personality, you still have to exceed an addiction threshold, and addictive personality just lowers that threshold.

Low level addictions tend to wear off fairly quickly in my experience, anyway,

How do I go about cooking indoors safely? I’d prefer cooking my food inside where it’s safer instead of going out in the open where I might be attacked while I’m cooking.
