Is there a way to stop my game from changing it’s language? I’ve set the config file to en, I’ve deleted all the language files but english…

Your lewa noga feels chilly.
Because of the translation I can’t even read the key setup for some options like switching unarmed style or from semi to full auto. It gets frustrating to have the wikia page opened at all times, with a PC as slow as mine…
So I generated a map with size 8 cities, and decided I didn’t want to keep the evac shelter as my base. So I’ve been running around the city for 4 days now, (though it’s felt like an eternity since I rarely get to sleep) and having looted 2 gun stores and obtained a working vehicle, I kinda want a stationary base to rest at before my luck runs out. Any suggestions? I’ve considered a garage, so I could safely work on my car, but they have that row of windows that you can’t close. I could just board them up, but was wondering if there were any other options. I haven’t located a fire station, so those are off the table. Main requirement is not too many windows, and preferably a safe place to store my car. Any ideas?
One option would be one of the twin houses - one of the two sides will reliably have a bedroom with no windows, and they’ve got fireplaces as well, though there’s no room for a car.
I’m pretty sure the garages on the houses that have them are sealed and windowless as well; while you’d have to put up with poor-quality bedding, those probably fit your requirements best.
Alas, you can’t pick either of those two locations out from the map - you’d have to go looking for them.
House with garage is great. They have enough space in the garage to fit all but the biggest rolling fortresses. The Solar Roller VI, sans ram, is stashed in one right now. The garage only has one door to barricade, but in my case I replaced it with a metal door.
Ya, the only drawback i see in sheathing is you need to un-sheath to cut things (but you can still butcher). Can someone tell me about the butchering quality?
Butchering quality weakly affects speed (1 turn for every 20 points, minimum 2.5 turns), but it seems to only affect number of results when it’s negative.
game.cpp: game::complete_butcher has the formula.
In short: survival matters a lot, dex a little, str only if it’s below 4 (but then a lot) and butchering quality only if it’s below 0 (but then also rather strongly).
