So, i’ve been wondering:
How the hell do you guys stay warm at night?
I try using fire normally, but that ends up burning out too quickly,
I’d wear more clothing, and stockpile it, but that’s not much of an option considering how you can easily die in the cities.
I’m having trouble with Junkfood Intolerance, as I find it hard to work out whether something is junkfood or not before I eat it.
Like, SPAM is kinda crappy for you but I wouldn’t put it into the same category as potato chips.
-75 morale on consuming junkfood is pretty crippling sometimes, and frustrating when its avoidable.
Is there a list of junkfood available, or some sign I’m missing?
only place i’ve found about whether something is junk food or not, is the crafting menu.
if it is, the food’s material will state Junk Food, among its other materials (or maybe just Junk Food)
e.g. cooked TV dinner: Material: Flesh, Junk Food
if its not something craftable, sorry, i don’t know of an ingame way for it… (eg. cream soda)
but you could look at the comestibles JSON, use your head (no offense - i mean deciding if its good for you), or trial and error…
when i got junkfood intolerance from drinking mutagen i just droped all my armor and eq inside base and tried to kill a zombear with bare hands with all these books i took me 8 days to learn ewerything (good supply of andrenaline with atomic coffe realy help) only i had to learn mele because i do not have much mele skill books (only bashing, cutting and piercing)

Make a sleeping bag. Leave it lying on the bed, you’ll automatically use it if you’re in the same square.

this also works if you drop a pile of clothes on a bed, then sleep on it. you automatically use all of them to keep warm.

Part of the trouble was that i was stuck outside the city, no way to get clothes.
Thankfully i managed to run my hellish tentacle form through the city, fighting with drunken boxing, and steal a dinosaur costume, and then jump in the river and swim all the way back to my little campsite.
On a related note:
Beavers are the meese of the river.

That was an adventure from start to finish.

That isn’t even a fifth of the story.
Fuck it, TO WIHIYRGA!
Do car components drain batteries even when “off”?
All my car is in the green. I checked battery levels before sleeping and it was at 5-7%. Somewhere in there.
I wake up. On a clear day. 1% battery. NOTHING is on. I have a fridge, but it’s off. I want to be able to drive out of here! any ideas short of cannibalizing my car to make a shopping cart-style battery charger? I have about 8 solar panels.

I would say the battery is damaged, but if your car is in the green that’s probably not happening. You can just fuel up and (so long as you have an alternator) the batteries should charge on their own.
