‘e’ it and see what happens.
Pick it up and try crafting. If that fails, try and activate it.

You need to be within 6 tiles of the control panel, last I checked.

I appear to have encountered a problem. I have a “kill zombie mom” mission. I’ve never found the zombie to kill. I cleared out the house in question already and never found her. The entire area is seemingly zombie free. I went back there and there’s still nothing except some fungaloids.

Am I being retarded or is this a bug? I don’t think there’s a basement or anything. How do I get rid of the mission?

… aaand a new problem. My joints ache whenever I sleep now. What’s this? I didn’t get Tetanus did I?

Edit: It was a parasite. Maybe I got a tapeworm from eating raw meat.

Does the type of alternator effect the rate at which your vehicle generates power? Does the type of engine effect it? Would one powerful engine with a truck alternator charge faster or 2-3 small engines with 2-3 car alternators? How powerful is a minireactor and how long does its fuel last?

Also, does anyone know if a reinforced windshield is stronger than a quarterpanel?

IIRC you won’t be able to fold it, though.

Minireactor is extremely powerful and it’s worth the plutonium. You can run more than one alternator per engine, IIRC, so if you’re building a stationary generator that may be the way to go.

Why can’t I install it on my vehicle? It’s not in the list of parts to choose to install.

Try installing to a different square. Vehicle craft stations tend to need a lot of space and typically don’t play well on the same tile as other large things. (Kitchen unit and minifridge are on separate tiles, forex.)

I tried installing on aisles, storage areas, etc. Do I need a COMPLETELY empty space with nothing but the frame there? I thought an aisle would be equivalent but perhaps I’m remembering wrongly.

You need a frame at least, but nothing that blocks walking or an aisle.

Thanks for the info on the Minireactor KA. I’m just looking to maximize power production on my mobile base so I can keep all of my stuff on without worrying about running out of energy hehe.

Short of monitoring the local hostiles and turning the turrets off when hostiles get too close, no; the AI isn’t good at handling explosions.

Is there any way to control a vehicle turret manually? Seems like a feature which would be nice to have.

Parking and getting behind the grenade machine gun to take out a horde sounds more reasonable than hoping the turret AI will handle it.

I’m pretty sure it’s a random chance. I know it varies based on the armor, and it might vary based on the strength of the attack too. You just got very unlucky.

Hey, have the survivor suits been massively nerfed recently?

I’m at tailoring 7 and there’s no Heavy Survivor Suit in my crafting menu despite that the wiki says there should be. Has it been moved to a higher tailoring level?

I can make heavy survivor helmets and gloves etc, but not the suit.

Also, for the standard Survivor suit, its armour value is really low compared to what it is on the wiki…
