The rivatech revolver and a flintlock rifle (if you have paper cartridges).

Both will gib hulks.

I’m kinda partial to anything from Leadworks, LLC myself. Good weapons, made of American values by American workers for the American people.

Depends what you’re shooting at and what ammo is available.

If you have a bunch of seemingly useless .22 ammo and you find an American 180… GET IT GET IT GET IT

That thing is awesome. It obliterates weaker enemies in a storm of lead.

I wouldn’t use it against anything with a lot of damage resistance vs bullets though…

If you see an auxiliary shotgun like the Masterkey that’s very nice to have too. I just attached one to my crossbow.

Meanwhile… the NPCs are pissing me off…

What’s the best way to stop them picking up my stuff? I know you can fill their inventory with crap but how would I do that?

I’m not sure how they select what to pick up. Right now I’m giving serious consideration to living in a public works site instead of the shelter.

Or a garage in town.

You could trade with them and put a few steel frames in their inventory

Or trap them in a 1 tile box for eternity. Make it out of reinforced glass, outside, and with no roof.

I like that last option. Unfortunately I’m not sure what I can even build at this point. My character has really bad skills except murdering things.

I now have a cyborg ninja with a monomolecular blade, 8 dodge and 9 melee skill.

Next I need to build that rebar shooting railgun. Then I will be Grey Fox.

One just attacked me, utterly unprovoked, with a katana.

And then another stole my stuff. I got fed up and massacred all of them with a Rivtech magnum… and found that the items on their corpses are NOT the items they stole. What the hell?

Well, on the bright side now I have a katana.

I’ve moved to the top floor of the shelter because the dickhead NPCs lurk in the basement all day long and new ones seem to turn up down there and steal things.

Things are going well in game but one thing is driving me nuts. I cannot fnd a pair of welding goggles ANYWHERE. Meanwhile I have about 20 guns and a ridiculous amount of ammo… and all kinds of other glasses and goggles. Just nothing I can weld with.

Is the your joings ache thing from tetnus cause nerfs or is it something else that you contract from wading in sewage accidently… cause if its tetnas i swear… then it would be 2 games in a row contracting tetnus from one cut on wreckage.

I think that one is a food parasite, contracted from eating raw meat and plants.

In the topic of tetanus, you can take the parkour expert trait at character creation to reduce your chances of contracting it. Because the trait prevents almost all sources of enviromental damage barring traps. No more cutting yourself in windows and wrecks.

Hmmm quick question: Am I doing something wrong? Or does cutting an army helmet with a knife always yield plastic chunks? I remember that was the fastest way of getting kevlar if you didnt find vests or tacticool stuff.
