Tips, Tricks, and Newb Questions!
If I remove a storage part, what happens to the stuff I’ve stored in it? Does it get automoved with the part?

I’m making a new vehicle, therefore the question.
It’ll all fall into the tile where you were standing at the time of removal.

XD man that’s nuts, after the initial smash and grab from the starter shelter, the only possible loud noise I made was from the faulty bionic that the Bionic Monster prof. starts with. The farm was unlocked. Didn’t really matter in the long run though, ended up dying to a giant worm. Tried bowing it down from the road but wasn’t even getting miss messages while trying to shoot it

Could someone explain me what the “E…F %X” is, exactly?
I know that one is fuel, but the other one? I assume it is the battery.

I’m also now driving a Solar Car, it only has one E…F counter - which I think is the battery - but it is at 0%, yet I can drive it around. Is it because it’s sunny and the solar panels are fueling it directly? If so, why is it still a 0%? If I close the engine and wait a little, will the battery gain power?

If it’s pink, then it’s fuel, yellow means battery and blue means water.

If the battery is large enough, 0% can still mean a fair bit of power. But yeah, if the panels are intact and you hang around it (because of the reality bubble) then the car will recharge.

Another question: how do I get in fullscreen? It is TRUE in the options, yet it remains a small window.

There’s a green one for plutonium, IIRC. And yeah, Empty doesn’t always mean Empty. Just like real life!

Also dark blue is for hydrogen (not that you are likely to stumble into a plasma engine)

Whoa spoilers over there mr john, where can I get this engine and what are the advantages of its badass-ery?

It makes like… all the battery power. Or something. Not sure if it outputs water or anything.

1: It’s super fast.
2: It will leak radiation if you damage it.

My car’s been out in the open for 3 days straight and its battery is still at 0%…weird.

Its plenty fast (still slow compared to a v12), decently silent, but It eats hydrogen like theres no tomorrow. Its also nearly indestructible, dunno about the radiation.
[snip]
And by flat terrain do you mean floors and roads but not grass and dirt?
I mean any flat terain. As long as it isnt a bush, a window sill, etc. then you are gold.

You need sunny or clear skies for the solars to charge.

Also take note that the car needs t be visible during all those three days for it to charge. Spending time in basements or far from it just wont do.

I always believed the reality bubbe included adjacent tiles…in fact I have the car parked 2 map tiles away. Does it have to be “visible” (I have to actually be able to watch it) or only near me?

Reality bubble is 60 tiles: just beyond your max vision range on a well-lit day. (So your current tile, and not quite to the boundary of adjacent tiles.)

Yeah the best way to say it is that it must be within your maximum visible range, you don’t really have to see it.

I’ve waited for more than 5 hours in the car, while the time was sunny, and it still remains at zero. My storage battery is really damaged, but I assumed that as long as it was not completely destroyed it’d store a bit. I tried refilling it with normal battery (140 charges) and it says that the battery is destroyed (or that I don’t have the right fuel), so, yeah, I assume I’ll have to get some duct paper and repair it.

Do you have more than one storage battery in your car?
