A NPC had an active flare, though it had full charge and wasn’t burning. So naturally, I cleared half my city with it.

Bug exploit. NPCs really shouldn’t be spawning with Active anything.
its possible to sell/buy active grenades or active c4 from npc?
Buy only if the goof who added a new C4 forgot to add them to the no trading list (AKA as a bug).
You can sell active explosives to NPCs, however the timers are not processed while inside the NPCs inventory and thus they will never blow up (you can buy them back and they will still explode normally however)

Will an NPC pick up an active explosive? If so, is should be possible to turn NPCs into suicide bombers by getting them to pick up an active explosive and leading them into a large group of enemies. When they die, the explosive will drop and continue its countdown, then explode, killing whatever killed them.
Necro reply on telefragging:
The long range teleporter won’t kill you if you warp into solid normally unwalkable tiles.
If you happen to teleport over a foe or NPC with it, the monster will not be killed and will be harmlessly teleported out of the way.
It will no longer remove monsters on the teleported to area
Short range teleporter however works exactly like the teleporter item, including telefrags, telesickness and dying if you teleport into solid walls.

No need to have them pick it, selling an active explosive achieves this, it will blow up and behave normally once it leaves the Npc inventory either by the npc dying or trade. You can also wait until the last turn before selling the device as the trade is instantaneous.
How do I open sealed crates?
A crowbar or halligan bar. But why would you want to do that when you can smash it instead (smashing it could break glass containers inside it but I dint think those ever spawn inside crates).
Sometimes there are healing serums (not real name) in military crate drops.
Soooo… My joints are aching in game, and judging from another thread it’s a parasite, any idea if said parasite does anything else? Because I’m half expecting my character’s skin and muscle to start sloughing off by the pound at this point.
Did you recently recover from an infection? Because I had my joints acheing for two seasons before it stopped.
Nope, haven’t had an infection for about 2 seasons.
ok, curious, but just how far will a zombie horde follow you for? Cause I’ve been kinda gaming the system a bit and closing out before dying, but I had one hear me or something smashing apart stuff in the starter shelter and saw the Z’s within a square of it so I high tailed it and ran. I found a farm out in the boonies and killed some time in there working on tailoring till I got tired, checked my map before sleeping an no Z’s, so figured it was safe, woke up to the horde smashing in and attacking me, so quit out, fired it up from the save just before sleeping, gathered my things, went to a forest about 20 map squares or so into a forest, pitched a tent, again slept, only to wake up in the middle of the zombie horde again.
It sounds like you’ve picked up a case of trichinosis. It won’t do anything more than cause random bouts of pain, but it’s probably still worth curing ASAP.
Rollerblades = God
wut
Anyway, protip: never, under any conditions, come within a mile of a school without like 7 melee or a good gun, preferably a Rivtech brand shotgun.
Ever.

Roller blades cut your move cost on flat terrain in half.

If I remove a storage part, what happens to the stuff I’ve stored in it? Does it get automoved with the part?
I’m making a new vehicle, therefore the question.
