…We may end up having to do that. There isn’t much room in the HUD and the sky display disappears if you’ve a watch on your person.

Wouldn’t be too hard to add it to the map screen. Might make the most sense to put it there? Phases could just be like one character, _ ( O ) _. I think df does it something like that but its hard to tell what it is.

Or you could add a breakdown of modifiers to your vision range, like how you’ve got a breakdown of morale, encumberment, walking speed, …

Breakdown of vision-related stuff like ‘being too dark to see details right now’ or ‘full moon’ would be excellent.

Or ‘Just light enough to see silhouettes of humanoid things in the distance’.
That would actually be kinda cool, if something juuust on the edge of your sight radius was listed as ‘Humanoid ???’ or ‘Weird Floaty Thing’.

Im liking this idea, but preferably the zombies would be unable to identify me too

So,I see a Mega store in the distance,I have a pretty good idea on the risk’s but what types of items would I get in there?

medical, tools, clotches, food, electronic things, books and maybe weapons
prepare for big amout of normal zombies if you play with hordes avoid using explosives

Once hordes are working properly we ought to depopulate megastores & replace with a small horde. Wouldn’t be that much different.

How good are atomic night lights?

Basically you found the best item in game, free portable source of light that light up 1 square around it

Its a little debatable, they allow you to read in the dark, however the extra tile of light around you is something that really makes no difference compared to a lightstrip.

Is there any way to reset my character’s biological clock? Through a combination of drinking soda’s and staying up past bed time,my character now get’s tired in the day and is active at night,I can handle any zombies just fine and the darkness is really annoying.

Just keep drinking soda and caffeine pills till you sleep at night.
This should work in real life.

Well, found out that the most effective (though embarrassing) method of resetting the biological clock is to use the vibrator a few times when night comes along.

Funny how vibrators apparently solve everything.

Indeed.

There is an issue with this idea.
Some people play without hordes.

Mostly because they think of them as being cheesy as hell.

Yeah, I do.
