Does anyone know why these woods are crawling with zombies all of a sudden? I thought I was relatively safe this deep but apparently not…

Yeah, I was wondering why they were zeroing directly on the bunker. Then I remembered acid rain blew up my four turrets. I guess it was the explosions that drew them.

Yah, there is now a toggle in the options for wandering hordes.

Yah, you will need to create a new world with the option turned on, also obviously have a recent build that has it included.

Be warned though, im not sure how it is now, but when they first came out, they could be fairly hardcore early on at least.

1.) How do I deal with regular, bug-sized wolf spiders and jumping spiders? They block me from shutting doors half the time and it’s extremely annoying.

2.) There seems to be a bug with funnels, if I remove a container from the tile they’re on, it seems that it won’t work ever again to collect rain, even if I deconstruct the funnel and replace it. What do?

How do you get a vehicle going? I’ve had cars that I found and gassed up, but only once have I modified a car, and then I died of zombears during building. I was realy pissed after that, and I had a chassis with an engine, seat, and wheels. how do you guys get your cars going?

Generally I try and build in places with not much line of sight, so things cant spot me from miles away and home in, garages in houses, firestations, etc are good, just between some houses at a pinch. Or just work at night with no lightsource for things to find you with. Just fixing up a partly damaged car then driving it somewhere safe to mod it is also alot easier than building from scratch.

I generally shoot them, they get auto targeted fine, im pretty sure throwing stuff at them would work. If in doubt, burn the building down around them.

Just some random hint, even if for higher characters which use bionics and can craft CBM:PowerStorage MK-II: When you enter a Laboratory, take some plutonium cells with you and disassemble all the terminals you can not use, or do not want to use or that have no use for you anymore and craft power storage units.

Last visit in a laboratory increased my max storage from 240 to 550.

Crafting all those Amplifier Circuits and Power Converters to create even more CBMs has the added benefit of grinding your electronics skill, making CBM installation less risky. I curbed my OCD by limiting myself to only scavenging consoles on the first level of the lab.

I looked at the jsons and, apparently, nothing. My version is 3 days out of date though perhaps something changed by now.
You get plant fibres from killing triffids.
