Where can we read the last notes written by a dying character ? I can’t find them on the character corpse if I play someone else in the same world.
Is there a memorial somewhere or whatever ?

In your Cataclysm folder look for a folder named Memorial. Everything is there.

Ok, time for another newb question from yours truly. I’m up to the stage where I’m thinking about installing some bionics, and
i was wondering what first aid and electronic skill levels you would recommend, as well as what level of intelligence.

Edit: Also, is there a way to split stacks of ammo into smaller groups, because I really don’t need to be carrying 110 bullets.

I’m not sure if this is what you meant, but all you have to do is open the drop menu, enter the number of thingamabobbers you wish to drop, and then mark said item for dropping.

Say I wanted to drop 13 bottles of water for whatever reason, and I had, I dunno, 9000 bottles? The 9000 bottles would be bound to ‘E’ here. All I’d have to do is open the drop menu, press the keys 1 and 3, and press ‘E’. Works with bullets too

I, myself like 7 electronics 4 first aid 15 intelligence for regular joe class bionics.
If that isn’t doable then chug cola or caffine pills and you get more intelligence.
For military rare types I like 9 electronics 8 first aid and 15+ intelligence (Because that’s about my stats when I find those bionics).

Trick is to get the fail chance <20%, that is the level where you can loose bionics if things go very wrong.

The other key is drugs. Lots of drugs.
(3 doses of before installation is very useful).

If you want to avoid drugs you can drink lots of energy drinks.
To install bionics early game I try to get an INT boost of at least 3, 4 if I can.

Helps a lot.

No.
Get a chopping implement (if you’re using a chainsaw then you need to start it first) and stand next to a tree.
Hit * to enter the construction (destruction?) menu and select the option to cut the tree down. Nominate which way it will fall.
Now stand next to one of the fallen sections and enter the construction menu again, and choose to slice the section into either logs or 2x4s. If this option does not appear than make sure your chainsaw hasn’t run out of gas and stopped.

No, they managed to detect it so not as many people died and they have outposts. This is un implemented.
