Is it possible to make friends with hostile NPCs, factions?
It’s impossible to change the attitude of hostile faction, for example, the bandits.
However, there’s a trick for NPCs who start as neutral and later for some reason turn hostile. Normally you can’t talk to these NPCs, but when they’re picking up things, or pulping a corpse, they turn neutral for a short while. This is when you can talk to them.

One time, I failed to convince a NPC to persuade and tell that I’m friendly then turned hostile. Was afraid of me, but the next day, I tried again and got another retry at the persuasion, and this time turned friendly.
