So, I’ve read that trees could be turned into marloss trees, by spreading spores. But I’ve yet to see one even after turning half a forest into fungus. All the fruit I have I got from mapgen areas.

The version I’m playing is 0.C 3873 of the experimental builds.

Also, will Gardener mycus mutation allow me to clean up some of this mess? I’ve yet to get it.

If the trees are actually becoming grey, you should just examine them to retrieve fruit

Yes they do look the same.
But now that you mention it, I think only the ugly blue fungal gas produces marloss trees, if you made the forest through regular spores then I think you won’t find any fruit trees in it.

I think so at least, cant really check the code ATM.
