Mod restoring deleted content

Does anyone know if there is a mod that restores the content that has been deleted over the years while also keeping the newly added contant and quality of life improvements intact?

I am thinking of the sci-fi elements, robots, CBMs found in the main world, easier mutations, deleted items like the combat chainsaws, deleted features like moral boost from fashionable clothes, deleted traits like bloodlust and psychopath an deleted enemies like the dire wolf.

I know about Bright Nights but that fork also deleted a lot of quality of life improvements and new content from Dark Days Ahead. Is there a mod that “merges” Brigh Nights with DDA?

No, and there is no such a category of lost content as such in the first place. Things get added, removed, or reworked all the time, so there isn’t some kind of “CDDA: Director’s Cut” waiting to be made. To get the old CDDA you have to remove or render a lot of the new CDDA irrelevant, both in terms of content and game elements.

I dont know if this works:

Get the mod from an older stable release,

change the mod’s file name and name in .info file,

install mod in newer version.

Dont know about non-mod deleted content though.

That would likely require more work than just updating the mod info file. Also I don’t think that’s necessarily what op wanted. The closest equivalent would be trying to update the Aftershock content mod that was merged with the total conversion mod. Aftershock’s content mod had a fair amount of the older more sci fi stuff ported over to it, though I’m unsure how much of that remained compared to original content made for Aftershock. Aftershocks power level is substantially higher than dda so like even basic moxphore regenerators were extremely dangerous to encounter, while basic weapons from the mod were really powerful.

Oh oops. Sorry for necroing the thread, I forgot to check the date of last post.
