So I’ve managed to find one single cow that hadn’t yet turned, and after much effort and considerable risk it is now ruminating in a small fenced off pasture with a shed at my base, providing a very valuable supply of milk. I’ve ensured it has a healthy supply of straw, cattle fodder and salt licks, so it should be reasonably comfortable - the only thing that worries me is that I have a wasp nest 4-5 overmap tiles to the north-west of my base, and I get the occasional buzzer in my back yard, where the cow now lives.
I don’t really mind having the wasp nest there; they rarely bother me and have proven to be an extremely effective defence against wandering hordes - more than once I’ve woken up to find dozens of zombie corpses littering my yard and the surrounding area, having slept soundly through it all. BUT. I do worry that my cow might be injured or even killed by a wasp if one gets too close. Do I need to worry about this and if so what would you suggest I should do?
