How do I play Cataclysm DDA on ubuntu 14.04? I downloaded the tar.gz file from here http://dev.narc.ro/cataclysm/jenkins-latest/Linux/Curses/ double clicked cataclysm nothing happened

Hello.
Download SDL build and do same things.
btw, may be you need to install some packages:
sudo apt-get install libsdl2 libsdl2-image-2.0 libsdl2-ttf-2.0 libsdl2-mixer-2.0 lua5.1 liblua5.1

or

you need run cataclysm from terminal.

1. Run terminal emulator
2. cd
3. ./cataclysm.
