Fear factore?

is there fear factor on C.D.D.A like if you ar being followd bi zombies you get scared or somyhing?

Last I knew, we prefer that fear either be on the player’s part (the evac shelter curtains start closed now partly because one payer commented how xe was afraid to open them and possibly Be Seen) or be customizable. So far we don’t have a good modular-fear system so characters could (for example) be designed afraid of triffids, whilst totally OK with spiders, and not much caring about zeds.

One thing fear would do would increase your strength and speed, but reduce dexterity and intelligence.

Morale could transform into a more complex comprehensive emotion system. Anger, fear, gaiety, sorrow, hope, and derivatives like panic and nihilistic rants. Or it could be kept relatively simple, which also has merits…

One weird thing from a semi-realistic point of view is that only people that pick the “High Adrenalin” Trait actually get anything resembling a Fight or Flight response.

NOW.”[/quote]Yeah, all humans have this “trait”, it’s your natural adrenaline kicking in when you detect a threat. Adrenaline is great for getting the hell out of Dodge, or slugging your way out if running isn’t an option, but for shooting or out-thinking your enemy, not so much. If you haven’t already, read On Combat by David Grossman, he goes into depth about the effect of adrenaline on the human body.
