The bonus/malus for swimming is inverted, higher encumbrance makes it easier to swim and lower encumbrance makes it harder to swim.

Also, it’s impossible for hand encumbrance to be below 0. Any negative encumbrance is negated by an equivalent amount of positive encumbrance that just magically appears.

That’s new: back in 02Feb I had to strip when practicing my swimming, even when I grew a Tail Fin.

Encumbrance as a 2-bit unsigned integer? when you get above 128 encumbrance, it wraps around! [Not really.]
