Draw Your Cataclysms

An easier method is download one of the foxy images and copy the colors from those.

Done already, hahaha.

Just the items for now, but when it gets paperdoll it will be so fun!

What and how does Paper Doll do?

It’s code that makes the clothes appear on your sprite, basically! d:

Given all the things there are to wear in C:DDA…

You’re gonna be sitting there for a while.

Another thing, Will clothing be layered the same way it is in the menus, with all layers overlapping in game?

Edit: Something else that would be awesome, simple direction animations (ex. hit West, N-West, or S-West and you appear to be looking left and same for East to right.

I really don’t know! I expect it to work like that.

Also, that’s not implemented, sadly. It would be relly cool!

ChazMoth is taking a break from adventuring in the cataclysm to recover from his latest near-death experience. In the meantime, he has a substitute.

(Once again, original spritework by StopSignal - I simply edited ChazMoth into Chaz Serir!)

To that end, here’s something I actually drew, which is something I’d probably say upon encountering a Brute or a Mi-Go:

Beat quote ever.

it’s been a while since I last appeared in here…a very long while and yet people continue to produce amazing arts and short comics so I figured i’d give procrastination the finger and have a crack at drawing my longest surviving person, almost a year and she’s still going strong thanks to good favour with the rng

Dr. Klara Lekov
A Scientist working in one of the labs when the dead started to rise and managed to get out and snag a few chemicals before the emergency shutters fell, she had no idea what it was exactly she was working on just that it was to do with plants and genetics, the rest was mostly kept hush by the directors, taking refuge inside a closed down, boarded up shop she converted into an impromptu lab she set about trying to find out exactly what the hell was going on and what these ā€œmutagensā€ were.

Did you know that when sleep deprived and short-sighted that certain mutagens look suspiciously like caffeinated drinks? Klara didn’t

at first the vine just hung there limply, unresponsive to her experiments that is, until she tried to cut them
one raid on the nearby chemists, several painkillers and much time later she had managed to gain basic motor control, moving them in a rather off time sync with her own arms.
thus began the new life of the self dubbed ā€œDr. Octaviausā€ (because Zombie apocalypse or not, Dr. octopus was still taken)

Present day the vines move as if they were just another appendage moving with speed and grace, while they lack fingers for any real dexterous work they’re capable of wrapping around larger objects much like a snake and should (it usually does) the need arise, act as blunt weaponry with quite a weight behind them.

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS REALLY COINCIDENTAL?!
I WAS THINKING OF THIS EXACT THING HAPPENING, LAST NIGHT.

I was also thinking about what would happen should (the almost identical) Chaz Serir run into Eliza, and the possible misunderstandings that may occur.

That or Serir meeting Moth, and it being as if they think they are looking into a mirror until moth raises his wings

That was a pretty cool story, man!

And i want to see how thatd turn out!

Well, thing is, given that they are both 'sonas of mine, there’s sort of a thing where they can’t really be occupying the same space at the same time - so I’d been thinking of Chaz Serir’s Cataclysm as an alternate universe, separate from the Skybreaker story.

That’s where things sort of get very confusing, though, and I need to be careful not to write myself into a corner. It’s hard enough figuring out how to get Chaz Serir to fit into the story’s lore since technically I figured he was an alien who ends up on Earth through some sort of lab accident linked to the Cataclysm (And those portals showing up) - maybe he was a scientist on his home planet, who happened to be investigating the fourth dimension around about the same time.

Generally I never have two Chazzes meet directly (Because terrible things would happen if they did) - the only exception to this being Chaz GELF from my webcomic Intergalactic Truckstop, who is an artificial construct who was given part of the personality of the actual Chaz in that comic’s universe.

My stories get really convoluted and confusing I’m sorry

Maybe, in his experiments within his own cataclysm, he stumbles upon a multi-dimensional rift; which places him in the Chaz Moth Dimension.

That’d just be icing on the convolution cake.

We have to go deeper…

BWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

This thread is so dead recently, it doesn’t deserve this.

Words. Of. Wisdom.

Also, thank you! When people don’t post, I’ll just end up waiting until someone does so I can reply

I’M ALWAYS HERE.

I like it when people are honest.

Maybe some time i ll get arround and do some totaly 1337 paint drawings with my mouse to torture this community with.
