Draw Your Cataclysms
(Please to anyone who is or knows any real psychiatrists… insane character who disrespects psychologists is irony, not insult.)

“Bill, what do you think happened on the first day of Spring?”
“Vroom… vroom vroom.”
“No, Bill, everyone has always been zombies.”
“Vroom?!”
“You mustn’t believe that all those people have died, or you’ll get horribly depressed. That’s the reason why you’re here, right?”
“Vroom vroom T.T”
“It’s okay, Bill. Everyone has always been zombies. We just didn’t realize it until recently. And that’s a good thing, right?”
“Vroom?”
“Because now that we understand, we get to nuke them!”
“Vroom va vroom voom VROOM!”
VROOM! Vroom vroom vroom. Vroom! d:

My hunger for lore is satiated for now.
I love how dynamic everything is getting, like if it was all alive yet everything dead.

Glad you like it  Not entirely sure what you mean but “Like it was all alive but everything dead”, though, ahaha.

And I’m glad I could satiate your hunger for lore. \o/ I’d had this idea for this entry while I was still waking up but I only just got around to it. Alice and Ted will probably get more entries later - those are of course the scouts who found Chaz - he wasn’t unconscious for a start but after that exchange he passed out, and was promptly escorted by a medical team to the Skybreaker hospital.

Whenever I think of Seb and what voice he may have, I can only hear Fuhrer Bradley from Full Metal Alchemist. <- Some spoilers if you plan on watching it, only listen to the first bit.
(Only his voice mind you, his actions are a “no thank you” for Seb’s character)

Almost Looks like him too, only with an added beard and not weird eye

Backstory, for the backstory Gods!

Back a few months ago, before the disappearance (and suspected death) of Jodi occurred, it was around then when Jodi was said to have given Jakers his top hat. Previously, he used to dress normally and acted much more… relaxed, and less gentlemanly. He mainly had a somewhat rugged look about him - although he did appreciate stylish clothing. Although Jodi wasn’t intelligent, she was a very kind companion of Jakers’ - a mutagen test subject who wasn’t properly educated. Jakers encountered her, muddy, starving and alone about six months before her likely death occurred. It’s very likely that Jakers felt sorry for the ‘stray’ of the lab, and cared for her - teaching her the ways of the world.

To show her appreciation, Jodi spotted a top hat in a clothes store whilst Jakers was cleaning the blade of his knife. Out of good morals, she decided to make a run and get the top hat as a present for Jakers. Unfortunately - she didn’t notice the building was crumbling and in a very sorry state. As soon as she grabbed the top hat, the whole building began to collapse - covering her in dust. Thankfully, she’d always been very agile, and managed to present the top hat to Jakers - even if she got very dusty and needed a bathe in the river straight afterwards. It was more than worth it to present the man who saved her a simple gift.

Because the gift was a cute gesture, Jakers kept it and wore it in the future times - although in a more casual manner. Nowadays… well… I’ve already explained why he never takes off his top hat. The chances are, it’s the only memory he has left of Jodi. But why did he suddenly go from a rugged, casual sort of person - to a well dressed, gentlemanly individual? Nobody truly knows. We’re still looking into the relationship of Jakers and Jodi to find out any further information.

Although nowadays he’s a huge threat… don’t think he was always like this. Like we’ve said before: the apocalypse changes you, boys. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take care whilst around Jakers. This is a man on the verge of insanity, no matter how nice of a man he was in the past.

What would happen if his top hat was destroyed?

Death Rhodri, Lots and lots of death.

Something bad would indeed happen. But I won’t say; it’ll give away some of his plot :x

:open_mouth: that’s awesome dude

You forget what happened when the last incarnation of Jakers lost his hat. It was gruesome. Fire and busted bodies then he jumped into the fire that destroyed his top hat.

The truth is out there under the hat.

O.o it all makes sense now :frowning:

I MUST SAVE JAKERS!

Gotta switch to garlic shampoo now.

One more art from me for the night, no real lore for this one, I just wanted to shine a little spotlight on Alice and Ted, the Skybreaker Scouts - two former security guards who got promoted to field scouts, tasked with looking for habitable places and sources of supplies, they also help to recommend courses of action for a larger squad of Skybreakers to help clear out the city they’re currently holed up in, and perhaps further spread their area of influence after that objective is accomplished.

They also look out for survivors in trouble and aid them as best as they can, though in these times it can be a tough call between calling in a medical team or simply putting a bullet in their head. Those that they save are generally invited to join the lower ranks of the Skybreaker crew - ever since the project was cancelled and the cataclysm hit, Skybreaker became less about secretive science projects and more about surviving and thriving - that said, some of the Skybreakers still conduct experiments, and now that they know that Subject C.W. is still alive and kicking, they’re not entirely sure what to do with him, but they treat him as a welcomed guest.

Alice is a skilled tactician and a deadly-precise markswoman, able to scan her surroundings and quickly decide on a course of action - in part due to the CBMs she’s had installed. Her face is disfigured by some previous botched CBM installations, and while she doesn’t mind it so much, she is worried about accidentally scaring new recruits and rescued survivors alike, so for their sake, she tends to wear a ballistic mask spraypainted with the Skybreaker logo.

Ted is, by contrast, bulky and muscly - he may look overweight but there’s functional muscle in there, he’s the kind of guy who’d fight bears in the woods and win. Somewhat brash and too noisy for his own good, Ted never leaves the Skybreaker base without his gas-mask, and almost always has his hood up. No real reason for this, he just likes keeping his face concealed so he matches up with Alice.

Alice and Ted were a married couple before the Cataclysm struck, these days however they treat each other more like teammates than lovebirds. Tough love prevails in the apocalypse, after all.

Oh nice.

“Yeah, Ted! Get yer shiet together.”

Love that line. We’re gonna have the whole Skybreaker project staff on this thread soon enough, even the nerd scientist guys who we’ll hardly see past their introduction, yay!

IT HAPPENS, MAN. IT HAPPENS.

the important thing is that you know NOW. Make use of that and solve the problem. hands gun to Jakers

Oh no, OH NO.

mind catches up with recent actions… *knocks gun out of Jaker’s hand, knocks top hat off his head and blasts blob then replaces hat and backpedals quickly while apologizing profusely for having touched “the hat.”
