Draw Your Cataclysms

Hes stalin for that double mass murdurers in one shot… worth it if he succeeds.
I had a really really silly idea for a comic with ChazMoth, based on a little moment from Metalocalypse (Shh, I like Dethklok’s music, I haven’t really watched much of the show though ahaha) and I decided to throw a Fooby in there as a guest star because I haven’t drawn him yet but he’s drawn me a number of times, so I figured I’d repay the favour. |D
Who’s Chaz beating up, anyways? Probably a zombified Coulter. That’s my guess anyways!

“S-So uh, What’s goin’ on? What are you punching there, eh?” Mason says as he subtly takes millimeter spaced steps backwards.

That’s awesome Chaz! Mason’s expression is exactly how I would depict him in that situation.
I love all the Crossover friend-to-friend drawings that have stemmed since I came by, I don’t wanna say it was totally because of me…

It was totally 'cause of me, you’re welcome.

If you expect to spend more than 45 minutes in your entire life doing digital art of any kind - even if it’s just doing brightness/contrast correction on a hand-drawn piece, do yourself a favor and get a real image editor. For the love of adorable baby pixils, don’t use Paint.

I recommend Photoshop or Gimp. Photoshop is expensive but it’s the industry standard. Gimp is free and is just as good for the non-professional user, although there’s less in the way of guides, documentation, etc. Other options include Paint.net (free, haven’t tried it but it’s supposed to be easier to use or something) and Corel Paint Shop (mid-priced, haven’t tried it).

Before this i really, really tought you used paint. Because your brushes look a lot like MS Paint’s brushes! I am pretty sure you use gimp i guess?

I hope this is not an insult of any kind!

Well… I’ve got you another good Photo Editing program, that is more or less a mix between PS and Gimp, but is just a really, really good upgrade from MS paint.

PaintdotNet

It’s absolutely free and has the user friendliness of a kitten (given you know at least a little of what things do in photo editing programs)

Whenever I start a drawing, the first thing I do is toggle Anti-aliasing as I feel the sharp pixel look is nice, even though it looks like a basic MS Paint drawing.

I use pen/pencil and paper, scan, and then edit to some degree or other in gimp. No insult, but I’m as surprised as you were, lol.

I use Photoshop, my god…

I use sketchbook pro 6.something for how it plays nice with my tablet, and paint.net for any actual image manipulation. I’ll use MSPAINT sometimes for limiting myself from drawing anything more hardcore than a speedy draft concept. It’s like using ball-point pen so you literally can’t waste time erasing. But then I import it to something better later. Lol.

Sketchbook is really awesome for tablets but wow how i missed key shortcuts with it and just changed to PS for them. Now that i think, i think i could have added shortcuts.

It has a couple shortcuts but not nearly enough. I WANT ONE FOR CANVAS FLIPPING WOW.

S key for switching between last-used and current brushes is nice though. I have been unable to locate a means of assigning hotkeys for things, but my version of sketchbook pro is out of date again.

The thing is that it has that really cool mirror effect! Ahh, it’s really nice.

I’m getting a little excited to see that group collaboration pic. Just, whatever you do, save an extra copy with everyone on a separate layer in case you post the final pic and get some latecomers to the party afterward.

Sure! Not a problem at all, mate d:
I’ll do my own character whenever I get the laptop!

This will be awesome!
EVERYONE GET HYPED FOR THE COLLAB.
Now I’ll go to sleep because it’s 6 am and I have to wake up at 7:30 am! So like welp, hahah.

So i tried using GIMP, after reading guides and stuff for over 4 hours i drew something horrible. But then someone told me about Pivot http://pivotanimator.net/ . Would that be okay to draw pixelated stickmen ?

Arte is always more than ok! d:

I should sleep tho. I said that 5 hours earlier.

Le hype is off le charts, mon ami.

YASS

Pivot is pretty cool. I made an animation of a man kicking a hobbit out of a tree. Good times.
