I might just be blind, but I’m having a bit of trouble figuring out what’s going on in this strip?
Looks like the player character is in among the trees in the background before scoring a headshot with the bullet whizzing on towards the viewer. Probableh.

It’s Sam Fisher with a sledgehammer and hydraulic muscles. The doll is bait for Zs.
Thought I’d have a super quick go with Sketchbook Pro, the results produced are very… messy… but okay for a first attempt and done hurriedly in about 15 minutes.
Decided to have a quick sketch of Valen Curse from Cry of the Woods, not a mirror image of what I was thinking of but somewhere along those lines (with other random makeshift crap I drawn littered everywhere lol:)

I approve of the crude collection.
You will find with practice that more and more of your lines will be constructed from large smooth strokes overlapping, rather than one line being made of many small hatchings. Your linework will tighten and smooth. It’s the tedious part of inking, like practicing scales on a musical instrument. Practice lots.
The nice thing about digital drawing is that you can abuse the undo button and try to get one smooth line over and over by luck. It takes as damn long as drawing a big line out of tiny parts anyway. Both methods work, but it is great to try out both as a means of learning how you work best.
