Games can make me angry. Some even piss me off. But… CATACLYSM MADE ME STAND UP AND SHOUT, “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!” AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS.
Fuckin’ NPC shooting up a ride I spent 2 in-game weeks polishing up, honing to perfection. I was parked by a forest and some zombie comes out of the bushes after I had wandered away. Mr. NPC shows up and starts blasting MY BEAUTIFUL FUCKING RAM-YOU-TO-DEATH TRUCK with a rifle, zombie on the other side of the car. "I gotta kill that zombie, man."
That NPC died, very violently. Then I burned his corpse. If I could, I would have defecated on the ashes.
One reinforced windshield got smashed. In my mind “guilty about killing innocent” was for witnessing the death of that poor, innocent windshield. It haunted my character for a while. My poor, poor, poor car… sob
Maaan I really wish I had one of those drawpad things now looking all these sweet pics. Maybe if I’m lucky I can save up for one with my SUPER BUSKING SKILLZ.
Speaking of busking, I’ve really been thinking of drawing a hobo version of myself for some reason, but I kind of lack the drawing skill. Basically it would be a tall dude with a little stubble with three harmonicas and an ocarina worn around his neck (like I do sometimes, but all the instruments are super heavy!) sitting by a bedroll and twirling an S&W in his hand.
If anyone can draw that then I might actually ask to marry them, but if not then I’ll wait until I have the drawesome pad thingy so I can do it myself.
Bamboo create is good for it’s price, yeah. Mine’s quite similar but a size larger and with different software included? It was somewhere in the 100-200$ range, which is… doable, but I have a part time job, not just busking
I would, however, highly reccomend trying someone else’s tablet long before purchasing. Getting the hang of your hand and your pen’s ink being separate throws me for a loop and I’ve had this thing for months. (I’m getting more precise with it by using it instead of a mouse.) It can be very offputting and make you feel regretful if you buy a tablet and then struggle with the learning curve. It’s very learn-able, but I’d say get used to using it for steering your computer before attempting to draw with it.

Same here, I’m an English Teaching Assistant, but the pay for that is quite low, so a little busking never hurts! Fun to play harmonica randomly on the streets and get like £10 out of it, too.
But yeah, I’ll take your advice! Danke/Gracias/Other launguages I don’t know
Also, i am pretty sure you can manage with learning to draw looking to the monitor. It gets so easy that it does not matter after some time. I have this tablet for years now and it’s the best thing ever.
I am told learning the dimensions of one’s tablet when not looking at it is rather like knowing where the front of your car ends while parking. You build a sort of map for it in your head, and then you are good to go until you have to get a new car/tablet and re-learn XD
Fwiw mine is the medium intuos. I find it is a good mousepad size. You can do some medium-size drawing gestures without the huge pricetag of the largest one, and there’s still a good chance it will fit on your desktop if your mousepad does. The size small ones are far more affordable, but for me personally, I have learned not to draw so god-damn tiny like I did in highschool, and really needed the space.
If they don’t have one set up for trying in-store, you could try asking! Even if just to see/hold the hardware and not run the software. The future shop I poke about at is very kind about that, their employees like their customers to know what they’re paying for first-hand. They usually have a display one kicking around for this purpose, though.
Here’s my current survivor of 0.B. Main fighting style is ninjutsu with his broadsword. He’s wearing a sleeveless leather trenchcoat with an army jacket inside. arms have elbow pads and hands are with tactical gloves. on the face it’s a wool scarf, bandana and stylish sunglasses. Legs are equipped with army pants and knee pads tucked in. Boots are combat boots.
