Crafted bone needle unusable (has 0 charges, needs 1)

No matter how many times I try (my survival skill is 5), the bone needle I get is unusable. The message is that it has 0 charges, needs 1.

Help?

EDIT: Experimental build, btw.

Uh, you have tried loading it? Bone needle is the survivalcraft sewing kit. Both need charges to work. You can load either thread or sinew, and unloading will always produce thread. (That’s considered an acceptable bug ATM, IIRC.)
