About auto-move

I see auto-move mentioned here and there. What is this feature? Does it work on ascii version? Does it need mouse click?

Yes, it works in ascii and it does require a mouse. Just point your mouse cursor to where you want to go and click. This marks the spot with an ‘X’ and highlights the path your character will take. Then just click on the ‘X’ and your character will move to that spot.

Also if there is an enemy encountered then you will stop and get an alert it also doesn’t work if enemies are nearby. It also paths the fastest way around(this can be hazardous near a river) your character will either go straight through the tiles or will go around. So if going through the shallow water is faster than going through the bridge then you will run through the water. I believe it uses npc patting to do it.
