After starting a new game and talking with static NPC at shelter, getting a quest and asking for supplies. I got a message “(name of NPC) gives you a leather apron” and its nowhere to be found. Checked my inventory and surroundings and still no item.
NPCs are bugged. Don’t mess with them.
Check your inventory again. Sometimes they don’t hand you anything, sometimes they hand you a ‘none’-- sometimes they hand you the item that was actually stated, but most of the time it seems they just resort to giving you a lighter (100).
