Siege Warfare.

I want there to be a point to building my Death Fortress. I want to be able to sit back and wait for the enemy to come to me, rather than have to hunt everything down myself. Most importantly though, I want to be able to say that I took the worst the Cataclysm could throw at me, and managed to remain standing.

I hope I’ll eventually be able to put together a Katyusha, even if I do have to build the rockets myself. I just want to drive around and blow up things from a few kilometres out.

I suppose it might be possible to bombard hordes at long range, though.

Yeah, artillery would end up being like the nuke silos, except less radioactive. Changes the map but probably wouldn’t have much effect on critters. (Until we get overmap-critter-saving support working, at which point we’ll reevaluate those… )
