Found a mine, led to the altar with a petrified eye. Feeling curious, I examined the pedestal where it should summon lots of dark wyrms. So I’m hearing crashes everywhere, but I reckon the dark wyrms have no idea where I am so I waited for an hour.
And the walls collapsed, and around 50 dark wyrms came out.
…it should have been intimidating, but the dark wyrms seemed to have the detection abilities of a concussed duck who got hit by a flashbang. I pretty much just hovered at the edge of them and killed them all.
It was suggested that the more of them you kill the less morale penalties you get
Like a leveling up ‘perk’, which have also been suggested during the past few days in regards to weapon proficiency so that’s creating a levelled playing field for the whole concept.
That’s different in implications from how it works at the moment. As far as I can tell, the penalty goes away upon killing 100 zombie children, but I don’t think it gradually scales down to 0 along the way. That would be a smoother way to handle it though.
Ah, I see. Isn’t the penalty fairly minor to begin with? That would also explain difficulty in seeing how well the effect scales down. Then again I really should play without the psychopath trait more often. :V
Just don’t code in any morale penalties for that. Please don’t. I already cringe each time reading how I allegedly feel remorse for killing zombified children. Phew.
Might be one of the mods, or it is in the base game. But you can already make Z slaves. And it is a bad idea to attempt to do morale wise if you are not a psycho.
Perhaps. Perhaps not.
Crikey, it’s UNDEAD. It’s not even near someone it used to be. And it’s out to get me. Perhaps I’d have some problems with that several hours or days after the fact. When the fight/flight boost wears out.
I’d have problems if it was someone I know. But OTOH, putting them at peace would still be better than leaving them to that miserable existence.
Good to hear that it scales. Some relief, at least.
I’m just suggesting that it would logically have some effect, especially after-the-fact. Now if it had an effect causing you to hesitate, THAT would be derpy.
EDIT: Radio stations let you install something called a repeater mod to it. And it seems you get those by finding a recipe for it. Is this spawned somewhere or part of a quest?
What is that new ‘something something skills dominate stats’ mod?. I don’t remember the exact name.
What does it do?
P. S. Same question for the glittering urchin. Found it among the rubble. It seems to turn the nearby zeds friendly. And the place I picked it seemed to be quite irradiated.
Glittering urchin is an artifact. Check if there’s any text that shows up when you pick it up, to tell you if there are any passive effects. And text when you activate it should clue you in on other effects.
Was it like “You suddenly feel sharp pain for no reason.” or something of that nature? Check the number of charges, that’s one message that pops up depending on its charge method.
So, in my current run, I traded in starting with Ninjutsu for Robust Genetics… and I seem to be getting MUCH more CBMs from butchering (and better ones, too). Is it possible that the Robust Genetics code affects getting CBMs? I’d assume that’s a bug, of course, but it sure seems that way (and boy, is it nice!).
I just tried to copy one character from one world to another and I couldn’t get the character on the same coordinates as the one already there (copy’d the posx, posy, posz coords under player from the 2nd char in the 1st one, but he spawnes in the wilderness instead of the shelter like he’s supposed to.) What am I doing wrong? (Was using the instructions from the wiki, btw)
Aye, I think it was. There were three charges and it recharged once all the charges had been used. I don’t know if it would continue to replenish until the second apocalypse, for I died shortly after.
How do Light Amp goggles compare to flashlights in terms of power usage? I don’t really want to carry around both so which one should I drop/scrap for parts?
