Use a soldering iron on the item in question.
You may need scrap metal, too.

My son is asking me to help him add a “tile set” to his game. How do I do this? Is there a baby step method or DDA for Dummies?

If you’ve downloaded the SDL mode, the tile set option should be in options.

Is it just me or does your character feint alot when meleeing animals/small stuff like zombie children? Annoys the heck out of me and forces me to pull out my crossbow.
Feint = miss but take half the time at it

I’ve got fairly decent levels I think…
On the subject of encumbrance though is there a list of what effects encumbrance has on different parts of the body? Tried looking through the wiki but there didn’t seem to be a full list.
Press tab on the character screen, it’ll show you the penalties that get applied to each part for encumbrance.
And to get to the character screen, press @.
Is there a way to charge up things like a welder via solar panels or is that limited to vehicles?
Only a roundabout way, you can mod your welder with a rechargeable battery mod then put a charger station on a box in your car. Stuff kept in that box will be recharged.

First post and all. Loving this game since I discovered it through Jef’s LP and twitch channel. 
I’m currently on a game and I don’t know what is going on but my character is constantly in headaches and randomly getting blind for a few minutes. I’ve tried first aid kits on head, saline eye drop, and constantly taking aspirins. I had an opiate addiction but recovered from it a while ago. Also I’ve been fighting every kind of creature in the game, but the thing is I don’t know how to overcome this strange condition, in my character screen there is only ‘pain’ as an effect, no condition or clue about what is going on with my character. Oh and also I get hallucinations sometimes.
Any clues ?

You may have a parasite of some kind? I haven’t seen any yet, but I’d advise trying an Antiparasitic Drug.
