Is there a way to see all effects on speed, other than the summary in @?
My current character is down to 99 speed for no apparent reason - nothing listed in @. Could it be a mutation, or some other hidden effect?
Hunger perhaps? Or a small amount of depressants?
Your weight? Your encumbrance? Mutation? Thirst?
I’m not hungry or thirsty, encumbrance is 0 across the board, weight is 45/116.8, volume is 44/142.
I haven’t taken any medicine lately, and depressants or painkillers should show up as an effect, right?
Are you wearing shoes?
Socks and combat boots.
Mood?
Not that either - Morale 76, focus 104, and speed is still 99.
I dunno mate…
Is there any way to tell what mutations I have?
Press @.
And just as mysteriously as before, my speed’s back up to 100. Weird.
How long do contact lenses actually last for?
The source code I have says a random number between 80640 and 120960 turns, around 7 days.
Best way to gather large amounts of long rope fast(gotta get those cargo carriers)
I’m currently destroying all the windows in town but progress is slow sadly.
Hacking seatbelts from cars probably, you still have to make the short ropes into long ropes, but it helps.
What do the colored statuses on body parts mean?
My torso is green. Am I going to die?
It means your torso is infected.
It also means You are going to die unless you manage to find antibiotics in the next 48 hours. If your town has a pharmacy keep fighting going towards it, you got nothing to lose now.

Red = Bleeding
It either happens with every single hit or never depending on which version you’re playing.
You correct it with bandages or, in a pinch, rags.
Blue = Wound that’s going to infect you with the Zomzoms rotting Russian syndrome
Use first aid, disinfectant or the good old Lighter + Knife (any kind of flame with any kind of blade should work)
Green = Infected
You’re most likely screwed if you don’t have antibiotics on hand, refer to John’s post.
