NPC systematically drop food

Jokes aside, which version number? Does it happen with food in their inventory or in the basecamp? What mods are activated in your world?

NPC dropping food

I gave to a NPC some water, a small tin can of tuna and a bag of 8 cheese spreads. Some hours later, he eats the tuna, one portion of cheese spread and … drop the 7 remaining portions of (fresh) cheese on the ground! What a waste, I promptly eat the cheese and gently made some reproach to him… I believe that’s a very minor bug. (yes he had extra capacity inventory)
