Is the butcher's knife really better than the combat knife at butchering?

It doesn’t increase yield, you are correct. It decreases time spent butchering, though, which can be incredibly helpful.

Bones can be made into broth now actually.

The chainsaw is effective at butchering small animals, it is just too effective. It would cut thru it like it was butter but there wouldnt be much left afterwards ;). Would be funny to see someone butcher with a zweihander haha.

Bones can be used for certain kinds of arrow-tips, if you’re unaccountably running low on rocks.

I think there should be different kinds of arrows. Like bone arrow or stone arrow or a metal tipped arrow (for those who can’t make compelaty metal arrows.)

There are already a fair variety of arrows, and Field Point Arrows can use bone or stone or nails equally well in their construction. Once you get onto proper Wood Arrows you’re using metal arrowheads anyway. Any additional intermediate types you add will have only marginally different statistics, not really worth cluttering the crafting menu with additional recipes.

Hm… Touche.

Me thinks you need fabrication to do most things now.
