I have already survived four zombie apocalypses that I am aware of (and it’s entirely possible that I have survived others without noticing them, possibly as one of the zombies), three lab accidents, four botanical explosions, betrayal by a trusted friend, contact with politicians, falling off of a building, multiple attempts to eat me by wild animals, decades of pollution and global warming, and one successful bionic muscle augmentation surgery. I’ve built massive structures, published scientific research, explored distant and exotic lands, won awards for artistic merit, created life, survived countless perils and privations, and sought the secrets of the Universe.
And that’s just a few of the things that I’ve done in real life. Most of it sounds a lot more exciting than it actually was at the time.
