# Winter should effect plant monsters

I’ve been thinking one way to balance the “sporepaclypse” that often occurs when a fungaloid or triffid is left unchecked is that during the winter their movement could be significantly nerfed, or the cold would kill anything without a ceiling over its head. that way you could have the fun of the threat of a fungal infection, without having to worry about your map being completely overun.
