# Why do some books (sometimes) show up as pink and take longer to read a chapter?

It’s not all of them, and it seems to change at random. I don’t really understand why it does this. I image this kind of thing may pop up when in a bad light level, but presumably that would effect every book.

IIRC Pink means you don’t have the required skill to easily understand the book

Ah, presumably that’d more specifically relate to intelligence because you can’t read a book at all if you don’t have enough skill, and books specify the int requirement. That makes sense, thanks.
