Which character would perform the best in your opinion?

I think that a survivor that joins the Mycus would probably survive the longest. No need to worry about food, water or poor moral. Mycus sporogenesis alongside countless fungaloids provide good protection against most dangers.

My second guess would be a Rat mutant. After all, they call themselves “Survivors” for a reason 😉

In the current meta, food and water are super-easy to come by, so that’s a non-issue. Tools are a bit more tricky, but also doable. So I’d say by and large whoever can run the fastest/longest has the best chances, since getting pinned down by a hoard is pretty much the only way to die for a competent survivor.  
Having night vision is also probably a HUGE factor.
