# Weird Lighting

So ive been playing for awhile now and ive started to notice this weird bug where at night time my area of vision at night seems to be much wider 3x3 to even about 10x10 at times than the usual one block but it says its still dark out and I have made sure i have no light sources on etc … is this just some bug?

I think it’s the weather. Full moon and clear weather can make prety bright nights.

Well that makes perfect sense except it was raining and cloudy out … hence my questioning it

also noticed this issue long ago. Try switching on and off your flashlight, this’ll update lightmap.

I had the same issue, though I think it actually was the moon. I son’t remember the weather, but I do remember that it was only like that outside, never inside buildings, that’s why I thought it was the moon.
