Nah, just melts. I like to let the ice cream melt in the bowl until it’s soupy and smooth, almost like a cold, sweet porridge.[/quote]

My mother tends to microwave her ice cream for the same effect. shrug

We’d need a source of chilling (ice lab or other such ambient temp qualifies) but other than that, sure, I’d accept this.

I have one. Needs its churn frozen for 24 hours before you plan on using it. Minifridge != freezer. 😉

Wouldn’t the difference between a minifridge and a freezer just be a matter of how rapidly it cycles? I mean, sure, maybe it explodes, but a 1 in three chance of icecream has got to be worth a two in three chance of a small spark near your clothing pile!

Butt-finger mounted laser. What did Astro have?

Living in an ice-lab would be totally worth it for icecream.

You should be able to did shafts into ice-labs in order to chill your base in summer.

and dig vents into magma to warm your base in summer.

And dig vents into anomalies to orange your base in purple.

Experimental nuclear powered vehichles that can teleport on over map tiles with the teleportation module, can rarely find them an a science lab/ military lab… has heavy duty frames and superralloy plating cause telephoning a vehichle could be damaging to inferior materials

Good point. I looked again, though, and it appears that portable freezers are, in fact, a thing. I don’t know if anyone manufactures freezer units for vehicles per se, but a character with Mechanics/Electronics could probably modify a portable freezer to run off of vehicle power in a fashion not too dissimilar to the other vehicle-utility recipes.

I wonder if anyone ever decides to make a load-whatever-you-want projectile weapon that calculates damage and to-hit depending on projectile weight and volume.

And then forget to put size/weight/volume limitations.  
  
And now imagine shooting jabberwock’s corpse at something.
