# Washing items is weird

Why washing don’t allow picking items in the file under you and the 8 surrounding tiles? That’s a bother to have to hold them in inventory.

While we are at it, washing a trouser in under 5 mn is not realistic. I think CDDA invented the concept of insta washing! Show to the offending piece of cloth a soap bar, and it becomes instamagically clean in a few seconds 🙂
