Ver. 0.A doesn't run on Linux

I’m currently using Ubuntu. Version 0.9 ran just fine on my computer, but all the experimental builds from then on, and this new stable release, don’t run on my computer at all. It seems to download perfectly, but the cataclysm-tiles or cataclysm_launcher buttons do absolutely nothing. I followed the instructions on the sticky thread but that doesn’t seem to work either.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

I think you might need to install Lua 5.1 as well for version .A to work properly, though I’m not sure (being a Windows user myself).

And it needs to be the 32-bit version of the library. On Debian/Ubuntu this is provided by the package liblua5.1-0:i386 (assuming you are running 64-bit Linux, otherwise just install liblua5.1-0)

FYI on Fedora you want lua-compat.
