# Trying to increase Fur Pelt Drop on Moose

Right now, they only drop 1 fur which makes 1 leather. That is very very silly considering a moose is bigger then most people (and that squirrels will sometimes give out only 1 pelt.) So I’m peering through the .json and I’m not sure where I should look exactly.

I think the butchering results are based off of your survival skill.

This right here. As for butchering returns, the only thing that they are based on that’s present in the JSONs is size and a few monster flags (which just determine whether or not butchering drops something, not how much they drop).
