Running the launcher or the game? I couldn’t get the launcher to work on my PC either, the game started up just fine after I made an exclusion with my antivirus. It’s fairly easy to manually download the latest version from [https://cataclysmdda.org](https://cataclysmdda.org)

Got the launcher to work by right clicking and troubleshooting compatibility, needed to be set to Windows compatibility mode: Windows 8
