# Tool qualities not working on certain items

I built a survivor utility belt with tool quality “Metal sawing 1” and “Fine metal sawing 1” (i.e those of a hacksaw). However when I try to disassemble a seat (from a car) a message displays saying “Need a hacksaw to disassemble this”. It seems the tool qualities don’t work on everything and certain items still require the actual tool.

Edit: It doesn’t seem to work on any car part (can’t disassemble steel frames, tires, etc.)

I believe the survivor belt needs to be activated for the qualities to come into use.

Are you using the latest experimental?

I just tested this and it worked fine the first time.

That’s just the iuse functions; tool qualities are a passive effect.

Not the latest (using 2337), well I guess its been fixed then.
