# Small idea for metal cutting / wood cutting tools

Quite a few weapons, tools and items can’t be disassembled or cut up with knives (any tools with CUTTING ability). I would like to suggest that tools with METAL CUTTING and WOOD CUTTING could be used to cut up these items to return (for example) splintered wood and scrap metal. At present I think the only way to completely get rid of these items is use of [raging fire](https://discourse.cataclysmdda.org/t/question-disposal-of-bodies-and-junk-items-what-do/7108) or (probably) acid. Which isn’t very environmentally friendly (will nobody think of the trees? Lol). The planet has taken enough damage already.
This is a ‘problem’ that only really exists because of my OCD tendencies, but maybe I’m not the only one who doesn’t want to leave a trail of junk items behind.

There’s the metal compactor for turning useless tools into useful scrap. Can be found, afaik, in recycle center, steel mill and maybe other places.
