new this month:
-oral pills made from morphine or heroin (same properties as poppy painkiller)
-a way to break up large rocks using fire and water (based on fire-setting mining technique)
-a recipe for gasoline (based on mesitylene and pseudocumene)
-ability to fill in the deep water found in swamps
-white phosphorus based incendiary
-black powder based on bleach and sugar (bleach is converted to sodium chlorate)
-hydrochloric acid from plastic (based on combustion of pvc)
-makeshift car battery from device batteries
-oil lamp based soldering iron (pro: no electronics, con: bulky)

other notes:
-I fixed the typo Invalid\_Username pointed out (took awhile because I read comment, thought about doing later, then promptly forgot)
-I didn’t get around to doing planting new trees this month because adding other stuff was more interesting to me (I still plan on adding it eventually).
