# Run CDDA on Ubuntu

I downloaded the latest linux version(cataclysmdda-0.D-Linux\_x64-Curses-9491.tar.gz) and extracted it, but when I clicked the “cataclysm” it didn’t start. What should I do?

I find out how to start it: open terminal then cd to the directory then ./cataclysm

I don’t remember exactly, but you may miss some of the lua-libraries. They are needed for the application to work. In my case, it helped me

thanks for the information! The download is complete in itself I just found out how to start the game soon after making the post
