if you look at the code, you’ll see cathedral relics are very effective against vampires. Simply by existing they make all vampires in DDA vanish. Proof ? NO VAMPIRES WHATSOEVER !!!

To be honest, though. Relics provide a little protection and do not encumber any body part, so you can stack relics for holy protection.

This. The relic may or may not resist acid damage itself, but with those stats it’s not gonna transfer any of its resistance to you.
