# Question regarding Tilesets and Chase' Tileset editor

So to use the editor, I need to download Java 7 or 8?  
And there are so many subtypes for them?  
Again I have no idea about programming, so can someone please help?  
Cuz to download these I have to make an oracle account to then.  
And also I’m confused about how the pixels/tiles are counted.
